I am from a small village situated in Vypeen Island about 20km from the Ernakulam town. There is a small Devi temple in my village. The festival of this temple is very famous. There will be a number elephants. The main function is called "THALAPPOLI". Also another ritual "THOOKKAM" is here. Here I am pasting a link to my Flickr album about this festival.
